A.P.O. FOGGIA, acknowledged as a Producers’ Organization by DDS No 31/ALI of 29/01/2015 of the Government of Apulia Region in fulfillment of the Regulation (EU) 1308/2013 and Mi.P.A.A.F. (Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies) decree of 24/11/2014, conducts its activity mainly within the province of Foggia and has its registered office in Via Fiume 40, Foggia.
A.P.O. FOGGIA has always carried out its activities, aimed at the fulfillment of the requirements of EU legislation, with relation to the obtained acknowledgement.
The objective of A.P.O. FOGGIA is to adapt the production and supply of its 3.200 member producers to the market demand and in particular to concentrate, support, promote and protect the production of olives and olive oil.

In general, A.P.O. FOGGIA aims to commercialize extra virgin olive oil and to certify it in accordance with the regulation UNI EN ISO 22005:08 “Traceability in the feed and food chain”; it aims also to direct the production and supply of its member producers towards organic and integrated cultivation.
A.P.O. FOGGIA is CSQA certified since 31/03/2016 in accordance with the regulation UNI EN ISO 22005:08 “Traceability in the feed and food chain” as a responsible organization regarding the traceability of bulk oil and packaged oil produced by its members and commercialized by A.P.O. FOGGIA.

The objective of A.P.O. FOGGIA is to adapt the production and supply of its 3.200 member producers to the market demand and in particular to concentrate, support, promote and protect the production of olives and olive oil.

In conformity with its character as an organization of olive producers, and having joined the A.O.P. Consorzio Nazionale Olivicoltori scarl (National Consortium of Olive Producers), it also conducts activities with the aim to:
• ensure the planning of the members’ production and its adaptation to the demand, from both quantitative and qualitative point of view;
• concentrate the supply and commercialize directly the production of the members;
• participate in the management of market crises;
• reduce the production costs and stabilize the prices to the production;
• promote environmentally friendly cultivation practices and production techniques in order to improve the production quality and food hygiene, to protect the quality of water, soil and landscape and to promote biodiversity as well as facilitate the traceability process, in order to comply with the obligations of the Regulation (EC) No 178/2002;
• ensure the transparency and regularity of economic relations with the members in determining the selling prices of the products;
• adopt innovative technologies;
• provide the members with assistance in order to practice rational and economic business in the sector of olive production, also by implementing shared services;
• improve the professional, economic, social and cultural conditions of the members and the operators in the sector of olive production;
• direct the members’ production in view of the consumer demand, both qualitatively and quantitatively;
• promote the products.

In brief, A.P.O. FOGGIA conducts a series of activities and initiatives aimed to protect the interests of its members as well as those of the final consumers.
